Kikunoya, Hatsukaichi

Dining at Kikunoya was a standout feature of my stay. The kaiseki dinner was nothing short of lovely, with beautifully presented dishes that were as delicious as they were visually appealing. The sashimi was superb, and the chestnut ice cream was a good finishing touch. Breakfast offered a range of traditional dishes that were flavorful and satisfying.

The onsen at Kikunoya was a highlight of my visit. It featured both indoor and outdoor pools, allowing for a tranquil relaxing experience after exploring the island. The soothing atmosphere, combined with the option to unwind in the outdoor foot bath, made my stay remarkably refreshing. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end my day.

I particularly enjoyed my room, which was spacious and well-equipped. The tatami floor was a lovely touch, and the futons were incredibly comfortable. It was nice to have amenities like a tea table and built-in closets. The attention to detail really made my stay enjoyable and I felt right at home.

My bedroom at Kikunoya provided a serene environment that was perfect for relaxation. The room was clean and tidy with soft linens and comfortable bedding. I appreciated not only the traditional Japanese aesthetic but also the tranquility of the area, allowing for peaceful nights and restful sleep.
